Alejandro Pérez

General Information

In 2006 I received my B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Granada. Since 2008, I am holding a four years research grant from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). In 2009, I received my M.S. degree in Distributed, Multimedia and Secure Systems from the University Carlos III of Madrid. Then I became a Ph.D. candidate at the Dept. of Information Processing and Coding at the Institute of Applied Physics of the CSIC, under the supervision of Gonzalo Álvarez.
Since September 2010, I am working at SecLab Wien as a visitor, under the supervision of Gilbert Wondracek .

Research Projects

My main research interests include all aspects related with security in web applications, network security, intrusion detection and underground economy.
At the moment I am collaborating with the TRUDIE project.
